I started a tattoo a month ago and only have the linework done right now. I did my research and found an artist whose work I liked, but you wouldn't guess it's the same person. The lines are so bad. I have blowouts, gaps, uneven thickness, and shakiness. I also have come to hate the design and wish I would've gone with my original idea instead. I have my first colour session coming up soon and I'm debating cancelling the whole project. But at the same time, I feel like I can't. I hate confrontation and laser tattoo removal will be even more painful and expensive. I feel like my only option is to have a half-finished piece I hate. That or I get it covered up, but I don't want to get another tattoo. Folks, listen to your gut. I wanted to cancel the entire tattoo before my first session. But I thought it was just normal nervousnesd. Turns out my brain knew it was a bad idea after all.
