This is a man whose entire public life has been a monument to malignant narcissism, self-enrichment, and insatiable adulation. He has never demonstrated genuine empathy or service-minded leadership; instead, he thrives on exploitation, grievance manipulation, and transactional loyalty. Voting for him while knowing he views you as nothing but a p### or expendable foot soldier in his egomaniacal quest for dominance is akin to setting your own dignity ablaze to warm his cold, unfeeling ambitions.
These voters often justify it through vague notions of “strength,” “outsider status,” or a fabricated nostalgia he sells them, yet they ignore that his strength is used only for himself, his outsider status is a grift rooted in elite impunity, and his nostalgia is code for authoritarian power and societal regression. Their vote empowers a wannabe dictator who has proven repeatedly that he would abandon them in a heartbeat if it served his interests, whether in policy decisions that strip their economic protections, public health, or civil rights, or in rallying them toward insurrection and leaving them to bear the legal and social consequences alone. There is no moral, intellectual, or strategic wisdom in empowering a leader who treats loyalty as a one-way street to his own glorification while he scorches the earth of democracy beneath their feet.
