I already know this won’t be a popular opinion here, but I’m saying it anyway: I’m DONE with people online, especially on Reddit, calling for violence against ICE agents.
For months now, my feed’s been flooded with posts labeling ICE as Nazis, terrorists, torturers—demanding they “show their faces” so they can be harassed or worse. That’s not justice. That’s a witch hunt.
Let’s be real—ICE didn’t suddenly appear under one administration. They’ve been operating under Obama, Trump, Biden—it’s a federal agency doing a tough and messy job. And now people want to dox them and threaten their families? For what? Because you disagree with immigration laws? That’s insane.
There’s this weird double standard. You say ICE has no warrants, no IDs—they do. You just want them hurt. And that’s messed up.
I’m not saying ICE is perfect. They’ve made mistakes. But calling for violence solves nothing. Demonizing federal agents while glorifying militant groups elsewhere? That’s a dangerous kind of delusion.
I come from a country that’s being overwhelmed by illegal immigration, and we wish we had a force like ICE. America doesn’t even realize how much strain uncontrolled migration can put on systems like healthcare and housing. But sure, keep screaming for chaos from behind your screens.
If you’re calling for harm online, you’ve already lost the moral high ground. Log off. Touch grass. Think critically for once.
Be respectful, no personal info, and no hate speech.
