I'm seriously dreading my 18th birthday next month. I know it's supposed to be this big milestone, but honestly, I'm just feeling overwhelmed.
As a senior in high school, I've already got so much on my plate. College apps, scholarships, finals... it's all just piling up. And now, on top of all that, I've got the pressure of becoming a "legal adult".
It's like, I know I'm supposed to be excited about gaining more freedom and independence, but the truth is, it's just more responsibility. More bills, more stress, more expectations.
I'm not ready for all that. I'm still trying to figure out who I am and what I want to do with my life. Can't I just have a few more years of being a teenager without all the adulting pressure?!
