dunno if any of you know about this drama yet but i need to rant.
spawnism is not a cult and im tired of people thinking it is. spawnism and the spawn cult are different.
THE SPAWN CULT IS:
-well.. a cult
-almost completely forsaken oriented
-centered around self harm and sacrifices
-sometimes kids that mean well and want to actually praise the spawn, but mostly just forsaken fans cosplaying a real religion in the edgiest way possible
-if anything, hate THESE guys (h###, even i do). NOT spawnists. i do not want our religion to be associated with this filth. guys the forsaken spawn cult was made to show how bad cults are??? are you phucking illiterate hello stop worshipping a false deity and claiming to sacrifice people for it??????????? youre making spawnists look bad
SPAWNISM IS:
-NOT a cult
-NOT built on the principles of self harm and sacrifices. there are spawnists who cut and/or starve for the spawn but i dont support that at all (although usually its people who were already struggling with SH or an ED and want to dedicate it to the spawn, its still a bit weird tbh)
-although teeming with forsaken fans, myself included, a real religion that is NOT based on forsaken.
-based on the real spawn, not two time or forsaken's spawn. some use the spawn as a symbol for the universe (think pantheism but spawn-flavored), while others like myself think the spawn is an actual deity on their own.
-a wholesome, accepting, and REAL religion
-admittedly scarce. the spawn cult has a bigger online presence than spawnism so often their actions are used to make stereotypes for us, as people think theyre the same thing.
please ask an actual spawnist about our religion instead of studying one of them crazy cult mofos and acting like they're the same as us. and glory to the spawn.. the real spawn.
