It’s funny that my parents said not to eat sugar because I would get diabetes when I was older. Jokes on them I still got diabetes anyway. Then they say it’s because i ate to much sugar and that’s also the reason I developed insulin dependence. BRUH I HAVE TYPE 1.
For those who don’t know, Type 1 diabetes is caused by cells in the pancreas being attacked. Type 1 diabetes is insulin dependent diabetes while type 2 is metabolic meaning it’s usually caused by bad lifestyle changes but not every type 2 gets it from that because there are so many causes. Type 2s are insulin resistant however some become insulin dependent but they are still type 2
