• Your rants, comments, reactions, and timestamps — these are the core of the platform
• Basic browser and device info to help us improve performance and fix bugs

How We Use It

• To keep the site working smoothly
• To prevent spam, trolling, or abuse
• To take action when rules are broken (e.g., bans or warnings)

We do not sell your data. Ever.

Cookies & Analytics

We use minimal cookies to remember your preferences, keep you logged in (if you have an account), or store safe session data.

Anonymity & Safety

Deleting Your Content

You can delete your own rants or comments anytime while logged in. If you're not logged in (Not yet implemented)

Private Rants & Encryption

When you mark a rant as Private, it is stored securely and encrypted.

• It’s encrypted on our servers and cannot be viewed by admins or moderators
• It’s only decrypted when you log in and choose to view it
• Deleted private rants are fully removed and cannot be restored

This feature is for your eyes only — write what you need to without fear of exposure.

Security

We work hard to protect The Rant Wall from hacks, leaks, or abuse. While no system is perfect, we take all reasonable measures to protect your content and our platform.

Third-Party Tools

If we use third-party services (like CAPTCHA or analytics), we choose partners that respect your privacy and don’t harvest your personal data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are major, we’ll notify you on the site directly.
