Yeah Steven Colbert's been cancelled -- by Trump. CBS/Paramount can spin it as a purely financial decision and maybe it was if looked at this way: They don't want to spend any more finances battling & paying off Trump in lawsuits, or having Trump stopping a very profitable merger deal. Should have asked Bill Maher could he tag along w/ him to the WH for the Trump ring kissing visit he made this spring. Pragmatic Maher took s### for the visit, but he's still got his show & it's not in any jeopardy of cancellation by Warmer Bros. even though Trump's got a hate on for CNN another Warner Bros. property. Now Colbert's going to have to find a way to keep himself relevant doing video podcasts for the next 3 1/2 years without a show because nobody's going hire him to draw fire their way.
