I’m honestly at my limit with DoorDash. It’s absurd how a company built on the promise of convenience manages to consistently deliver the exact opposite. Orders arrive cold, late, or missing half the items and somehow the solution is always a $2.34 refund and a prewritten “sorry for the inconvenience” message. No, Karen, I don’t want app credit. I want the hot meal I paid for, delivered correctly and on time. I order $18 worth of food and by the time it reaches checkout, it’s pushing $35 service fee, delivery fee, small order fee, tip (which I'm happy to give to the driver, but even that feels like it's covering for DoorDash underpaying them). For what? For someone to leave my food three houses down because they “couldn’t find” the clearly labeled address?
The app is buggy, customer service is robotic, and the drivers many of whom are clearly overworked and under-supported are forced to bear the brunt of complaints for issues they didn’t cause. This isn’t just bad service, it’s a broken system that no one at DoorDash seems interested in fixing. I’m tired of giving second chances to a billion-dollar company that can’t figure out how to reliably deliver a burrito.
