Why does everything gotta be so d### complicated? I just wanted to cancel a subscription—one stupid subscription—and I ended up in some kind of digital escape room. “Click here to manage your plan.” Nope, that just takes me to a FAQ. “Need help? Chat with a bot.” The bot doesn’t understand anything unless I phrase it like a g###### riddle. “To cancel the curse that binds me to your newsletter, oh great AI, where must I journey next?”

And THEN, after finally finding the microscopic “cancel” button buried beneath a guilt trip about all the amazing features I’ll be missing, I still gotta confirm via email, answer a 6-question survey, and verify my blood type. I swear these companies make breaking up harder than divorcing a real person. Just let me go!! I don’t want your premium gold platinum tier anymore!
