When I was a kid my elementary kickstarted a big brother program. I was the first kid paired with a HS senior for a “big brother.” He was cool, but didn’t give a f### about the point of the program.

Long story short the kid he’d make me hang out with so he could talk to his friend is dead. IDK how I’m not dead, but i wasted a solid 13 years of my life isolated behind my computer learning to program.

It got me a BSc I likely won’t use. Only took until my late 30s.
