Why is it that there always has to be that one d####### who ruins it for everybody else? We can’t have ONE thing that’s fun or wholesome or even just harmless without somebody crawling out of the woodwork to tear it down. You see it everywhere — you go online to share a laugh, and some a###### shows up to pick it apart. You try to enjoy a hobby, suddenly there’s a know-it-all gatekeeper acting like you’re not allowed to have fun unless you do it exactly their way. You go to work, and there’s that one person who just has to drag the mood down because G## forbid anyone else feel good about their life.
It’s exhausting. It’s pathetic. Like why? What do they get out of it? Is ruining things the only way they feel powerful? Because it doesn’t make them clever, it just makes them sad. They’re so miserable in their own lives they can’t stand the thought of someone else being happy. It’s like watching grown toddlers throw tantrums — but instead of breaking toys they’re smashing up people’s peace of mind.
I’m sick of pretending it’s harmless or that we should “just ignore them.” No. Their bullshit sticks. It kills the vibe, it makes people withdraw, it leaves this bitter taste in everything. And the worst part? They don’t even care. They WANT that. They want people to stop enjoying themselves, because if they’re miserable, then everyone else d### well better be miserable too.
Some people just wake up every day thinking, “How can I ruin something for someone today?” And honestly, I hope it eats them alive, because the rest of us deserve better.
