I really like this guy. He is so sweet and gives me so much attention, has a full time job, he is supportive. He's all these good things except I just found out he is married. Wife and 4 kids. Like I feel so stupid. I should have known it was to good to be true. I hate my self.

Love is overrated. It’s not the magical fix everyone makes it out to be. We are constantly told we need someone else to be whole, but that’s a lie—if you can’t be happy with yourself no relationship is going to save you. Love doesn’t fix deep-rooted issues like trust or respect. It certainly doesn’t justify mistreatment. It’s messy, complicated, and sometimes downright frustrating, but we’ve been sold this fantasy that it’s supposed to be perfect. Maybe it’s time to stop idolizing love and focus on building real, healthy connections with ourselves and others.

I seriously can’t believe I’m even writing this, but here we are. What kind of grown man thinks it’s acceptable to slap his chicken? No, I’m not talking about some weird metaphor. Why are veggies so expensive? Really, why are they? Most grow from tiny seeds and need just water and sunlight? What makes a pound of strawberries $7? and These aren't the organic ones (don't even get me started). Zucchini? Peppers? Why did the kitten sit on the computer?
Because it wanted to keep an eye on the mouse.
...But then it knocked over a glass of water, short-circuited the whole system, and the kitten’s internet connection was forever lost. And, uh... the kitten also got grounded for the rest of its life. Poor thing just wanted some online playtime.
