Power trips have drained the life out of my friendships. It’s infuriating and demoralizing to feel like the people closest to you have a compulsion to always be “in charge.” I get it—everyone wants to feel important sometimes, but when it becomes constant, it wrecks everything. Instead of mutual respect, it turns into a tug-of-war where I’m always being pulled into their need for control.

I’ve seen it play out in subtle ways—interrupting, dismissing my ideas, or making me feel small during disagreements—and it leaves a bitter taste. Worst of all, they don’t seem to notice how their behavior makes me feel, or worse, they don’t care. I’ve reached the point where I don’t even want to open up or share anymore because, why bother? They’re going to shoot it down or twist it to fit their narrative.

It’s exhausting, and sometimes I think—why am I even holding onto this?...Read Full Rant

I'm so done with the same cycle repeating itself. First, it was alcohol, now it's weed... but the pattern is still the same.

People get hooked, they make promises to change, but nothing ever does. They just switch vices and expect everything to magically fix itself.

I'm tired of watching people struggle with the same demons, tired of having the same conversations, tired of seeing the same patterns play out over and over.

Can't we just break the cycle for once?

Honestly, I'm so tired of being the bigger person. You know, the one who always has to swallow their pride, apologize, and move on?
Why can't someone else be the bigger person for once? Why does it always have to be me?

I'm not asking for much. Just a little bit of accountability, a little bit of empathy... is that too much to ask?

It feels like I'm always the one who has to rise above, who has to be the adult in the room. And it's exhausting.

You know, people who act like they have all the answers really get under my skin.

They're always so confident, so self-assured... it's like, come on, nobody has it all figured out!

We're all just winging it, trying to make the best decisions we can. But no, these "gurus" have to come along and act like they're somehow above the rest of us.

It's just not relatable, you know? Can't they just admit they're figuring it out as they go, just like the rest of us?

I'm SO SICK of being the bad guy!
I'm tired of always apologizing, compromising, and being the voice of reason.
I'm tired of being the scapegoat, the fall guy, the one who always takes the blame.
I'M DONE WITH THAT!
It's time for someone else to take on that role for a change.

you know what's infuriating?! The fact that I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO MAINTAIN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE!

It's like, I'll get excited about a new hobby or routine, and I'll stick to it for a few weeks, maybe even a few months... BUT THEN, I'LL JUST DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT!

My apartment's a mess, my car's a disaster, my relationships are inconsistent... IT'S LIKE I'M CONSTANTLY PLAYING CATCH-UP, BUT NEVER ACTUALLY CATCHING UP!

I'll make a to-do list, and then I'll just ignore it. I'll set reminders, and then I'll just snooze them. I'll promise myself I'll start fresh on Monday... BUT MONDAY ALWAYS SEEMS TO SLIP AWAY!

It's not like I'm lazy, it's just... I DON'T KNOW, IT'S LIKE I HAVE A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN OR SOMETHING!

I'll get obsessed with a new TV show, and I'll binge-watch the entire series in one weekend... BUT THEN I'LL FORGET...Read Full Rant

I'm so tired of hearing about how underpaid teachers are. Let's be real, they're not struggling to make ends meet. They're paid a comfortable salary, with benefits and summers off. I'm not saying they don't work hard, but they're not exactly underappreciated either. It feels like every year, there's a new campaign for teacher pay raises. Can't we prioritize other professions that are truly underpaid and overworked? Like nurses, social workers, or first responders? They're the ones who deserve a pay raise, not teachers.

I'm pretty annoyed with Hinge's new feature. They're now charging $1 to revive chats that have been inactive for 14 days. On top of that, we're already paying a premium for their monthly subscription. It feels like they're nickel-and-diming us. Has anyone else noticed this change? What are your thoughts on it?
