I'm trapped in a body I hate, and the world seems determined to keep me there. As a trans person, I'm facing a never-ending battle for acceptance and healthcare.
The UK's trans healthcare system is a joke. 26-month wait for a GIC appointment? 12 more months for hormones? It's like they want us to suffer.
And don't even get me started on societal expectations. I'm too scared to socially transition, and I know I'll face backlash from friends and family.
I feel like I'm dying inside, and no one cares. The guilt and shame are suffocating me. I just want to be seen as a woman, but it feels like an impossible dream.
