Well, I talked to my potential hiring manager who said that the government is still doing my background check to work at their job as a lowly contractor. And that this wouldn't be a long wait and I should get my allowance forms to get more prints despite me not even being cold being gone from my previous government job. I really f###### hope so. I wouldn't mind not working at all and doing what I want to do, which is gaming amongst eating out, but I don't have the money for that freedom.
