I know this will sound weird or maybe other parents can relate.. Why does it seem like its easier to go in the backyard and milk the cow VS. dressing, and hauling two kids to the store to buy milk? LOL Im so dead serious (yes, I have milked a cow and a goat before). #3rdWorldProbs

Cuts to USAID (United States Agency for International Development) funding can have significant negative impacts on global health, humanitarian assistance, and development programs. These cuts can lead to a reduction in support for a wide range of initiatives, including:

1. **Global Health Programs**: USAID plays a crucial role in combating infectious diseases (such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria), maternal and child health, and increasing access to vaccines. Funding cuts could result in increased morbidity and mortality rates in vulnerable populations.

2. **Food Security and Nutrition**: Many countries rely on USAID for food aid and agricultural support. Reductions in funding could exacerbate hunger and malnutrition, especially in regions already facing food insecurity, leading to increased rates of child malnutrition and associated mortality.

3. **Emergency Relief**: USAID is a key player in responding to humanitarian crises caused by natural disasters, conflict, or economic instability. Funding cuts can delay or reduce aid delivery,...Read Full Rant

The USAID funding cuts have had devastating consequences, disrupting critical humanitarian programs worldwide. Millions of vulnerable people are at risk due to halted food aid, healthcare services, and emergency relief[43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054](https://hsph.harvard.edu/news/pullback-from-usaid-raises-big-questions-for-global-health-security/?citationMarker=43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054 "1")[43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054](https://news.un.org/en/story/2025/02/1160646?citationMarker=43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054 "2"). For example, in Afghanistan, over nine million people could lose access to health services[43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054](https://news.un.org/en/story/2025/02/1160646?citationMarker=43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054 "2"). In Africa, HIV-positive children are dropping out of treatment programs due to medication shortages[43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054](https://www.msn.com/en-ph/news/other/impact-of-us-funding-freeze-on-ngos/ar-AA1CfAuk?citationMarker=43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054 "3"). I'm fed up with people questioning my gender identity. 'You're not trans enough.' 'You're too trans.' Like, what even is that?

I'm tired of being policed by both cis and trans people. My identity is mine, and I don't need anyone's validation.

I'm tired of the gatekeeping, the endless debates, the constant scrutiny. Can't I just live my life as myself?

I'm tired of being told I'm 'lucky' to be trans in this day and age. Lucky? Are you kidding me? I'm fighting for my rights, for my identity, every single day.

I'm so tired of being told to 'just be patient' when it comes to my transition. Like, I've been patient for years, waiting for the healthcare system to catch up, waiting for society to accept me.

But patience has its limits. I'm tired of being misgendered, tired of being stared at, tired of being treated like I'm less than human.

I'm tired of the endless questions, the invasive scrutiny, the constant doubt. 'Are you sure you're trans?' 'Have you considered therapy?' Like, no, I've considered living my life as myself, and that's what I'm going to do.

I'm tired of being erased, of being told that my identity is 'trendy' or 'attention-seeking'. My identity is mine, and it's valid, and it's worth fighting for.
