why does making adult friends have to be so f###### ridiculously hard you barely meet people your age at work jobs dont last hobbies clash with work and everything costs money unlike school you dont just bump into potential friends all the time plus most adults already have their friend groups and arent looking its a lonely struggle

talking to guys? Seriously feels like walking a tightrope sometimes. Especially at 18, it's like, what even is the deal with teen boys? I've just about decided they're either total nobodies or they think they're hot stuff but are still somehow losers. There's no in-between! They could be way out of my league or not even deserve my attention, but it honestly feels like none of them have a clue what love even means. I'm not trying to be all bitter or anything, but I've just lost all hope. It just blows my mind how my luck is so consistently terrible, or maybe they're all just like this? Maybe I've got trust issues, who knows, but I'm so over all the drama.
Okay, so, like, my friend? Seriously dense sometimes, you know? I love her to bits, honestly, she's the best, but wow, her brain just doesn't always connect the dots. She's gorgeous, right? So guys are always hitting on her, and she always, always, flirts back. Then she's all surprised and annoyed when they, like, get attached? Even though we've all told her a million times not to do that! And she always says the same thing, "Ugh, why are guys so creepy?" Which, fair enough, they should be able to tell when someone isn't interested. But if you go on dates and hang out alone with them? They're gonna get the wrong idea, duh.
