Ooooh okay, hear me out—ice cream melting too fast might be one of the silliest, most first-world problems to ever exist.

Like, imagine holding a literal frozen treat, in the middle of a hot day, and getting mad that it’s doing what it’s physically designed to do under heat. People will be like “ugh, it’s dripping all over my hand!! this is the worst day ever!!” as if their dessert betraying them is a personal attack 😂

You’re outside. It’s sunny. You have ice cream. Life is good. Chill. Or don’t… because, ya know, it’ll melt.

I don’t really talk about this and maybe that’s part of the problem.

I have an eating disorder.

Not the “obvious” kind, not the kind people always notice right away. I’ve gotten really good at hiding it—behind jokes, behind “I’m just not hungry,” behind pretending like everything’s fine. But it’s not and it hasn’t been for a while.
Some days i eat too much and some days i eat nothing. Most days, food feels like a game i’m losing—where every bite comes with guilt, or shame, or this voice in my head that won’t shut up. The worst part? Nobody sees the war going on. They see me smile. They see me “normal” but they don’t see the panic over calories, or the hours spent thinking about food (or avoiding it) or the way mirrors turn into nightmaresss.

man, why do socks always do this?? like i swear i put two in the wash every single time. two go inand only one comes out. where’s the other one?? did it just dip?? just vanish into some laundry portal like “peace out, i’m done”? now i got this one sad sock sittin in my drawer like it’s waitin for its soulmate to come back from war or somethin. and i keep it!! i keep it like some part of me thinks the other sock’s gonna come back!! spoiler: it’s not.

I am so over her complaining to me for over 4yrs about her husband. I've encouraged her for a very long time to seek actual help from the proper people but she won't. She will tell me things he does, or says and they are so not biblical!!! I've cried for her many times. She is/was (IDK anymore) my best friend for about 20ish years (since we were little kids).
